Alex Band是個好傢伙。
很帥。金髮。娃娃臉。卻有副與外表極度不符的沙啞嗓音。有才華。
是The Calling的創作主力兼主唱。

真的是很帥，可以直接頂替發福的Nick進入Backstreet Boys！XD


說到The Calling這個團，
首支單曲"Wherever You Will Go"就拿下全美成人抒情榜冠軍、單曲榜第5名，
而且還在我愛的電影「女狼俱樂部」裡客串pub裡的live band，表演的就是這首熱門單曲。

'02年發行第一張專輯Camino Palmero，賣得很不賴，
不過不知道發生什麼問題，'04年再出第二張的時候就只剩下原始團員兩枚了，

專輯名稱還叫做"Two"咧，實在是有點諷刺。

兩張專輯我都蠻喜歡的，清淡的戀愛搖滾風格，
完全對了當時的我的胃口。
但真要說起來，我得承認其實是迷戀Alex Band的聲音。

年輕。憂鬱。卻有一種力量，讓人相信他是用盡所有唱出他對生命的追尋、信仰、疑問、情感。

我好像總是被這種不完美卻誠懇的聲音吸引。
看看陳信宏哈哈哈哈。

總之，這個團還蠻坎坷的，
似乎目前處於暫停活動狀態，原因是Aaron想轉走幕後（？）一類的，
而Alex正在籌備個人專輯。

這首"Last Goodbye"，是他'05年末放在fan site上給歌迷的聖誕禮物。
還是demo形式，是他在自家錄音室做出來的半成品。

雖然還不是完整形式，backing顯得有點單薄，
不過卻襯得他的聲音更乾淨，更直接。

對等待近兩年的fans來說，真的是很棒的禮物。
他在留言裡說，過去的一年他埋頭於個人專輯的創作，現在他想把成果的一小部分與歌迷分享。
而歌詞裡說，I'll Keep singing my song. So don't cry. Cause this is not my last goodbye.
像是一種會繼續唱下去的承諾。
愛被重重保護的牛郎們愛久了，看到Alex這種與歌迷之間隨性直率的互動，還真是莫名有點感動。

希望'06年真的可以看到solo album發行！
